About Us

We are an NHS practice based in Upper Wensleydale providing the full range of services expected of a GP practice including a minor injury service (including for temporary patients and visitors to the area).  We are a deeply rural practice covering approximately 500 miles with a patient list of around 4250.

We are a dispensing practice with two sites (Hawes and Aysgarth).  We can dispense prescribed medication to all patients registered with us who do not live within one mile of a Pharmacy, which means that patients leave the surgery with their medication in their hand.

Patients can be seen at either surgery as we are one Practice.

Where we are

Central Dales Practice want to provide the best services possible to our patients within the resources we are afforded by the NHS.  We are passionate about trying to help patients care for themselves and receive care locally.  We realise how far patients have to travel to access additional services and we try to go the extra mile to help patients with their care and treatment as far as we possibly and reasonably can.
